Dear Ms. Walli:

With regard to Mr. MacDougall’s correspondence dated June 8, 2009 requesting an adjournment of the hearing of this application, I can confirm that we have been involved in discussions which may lead to a resolution of the owner’s concerns with regard to this application. Hydro One is of the view that these discussions should be permitted to proceed and would not oppose the request for an adjournment; however, we would request that such adjournment be to a fixed date and that all other time requirements of procedural order number 1 remain the same. We would suggest that the hearing be adjourned to a date convenient to the Board and counsel during the week of July 27, 2009 or on August 11, 12 or 13..

We would also request that with this adjournment of the hearing date, provision be made in the procedural order for interrogatories arising out of the evidence filed by the intervenor.

With regard to the venue of the hearing, we note the Board’s correspondence of June 8, 2009 stating that the hearing will take place in Toronto.
