Subject: October 1, 2007 QRAM Application Conference Call





On August 28th, 2007 Union Gas submitted a QRAM application for rates effective October 1, 2007. The draft Rate Order that accompanied this submission assumed that Union would also be disposing of the 2006 Deferral Account and Earnings Sharing balances on October 1st (a draft EB-2007-0598 Rate Order was submitted to the Board on August 27, 2007). The deadline for comments on Union's QRAM application was September 6, 2007. No comments were submitted.

On September 7, 2007 Board Staff sent Union an interrogatory question which asked Union to identify how we intended to proceed should the Board not render a decision on the draft EB-2007-0598 Rate Order in time for it to be implemented effective October 1, 2007. On September 10, 2007 Union provided a response to the interrogatory question and attached revised QRAM schedules which removed the impacts of the EB-2007-0598 Decision and Order.

Board Staff have asked Union to schedule a conference call to answer any questions intervenors might have on the revised QRAM schedules which were provided on September 10th. Please note that the gas supply data used to calculate the QRAM impacts has not changed from the original submission on August 28th to the revised schedules submitted on September 10th. The only change that has been incorporated into the new draft rate order is the removal of the 2006 deferral account and earnings sharing impacts.
