Subject: EB-2009-0096 response to Ontario Energy Board Application for Rate Change



I wish to register a strong objection to the application for a rate change to the delivery charges for electricity distribution made by Hydro One Networks. the Ontario Government hides behind a notion that they have protected consumers from increasing electricity rates while permitting excessive increases in delivery charges. The delivery charge is the largest part of our electricity bill (ranging from at least 50 to 75%). In a time of acute financial difficulty for all citizens of Ontario we have endured increased utility rates, an enormous future tax grab in the form of gst and pst harmonization, increased city taxes, etc.

The only thing that hasn't gone up is our incomes. Does anyone have the Ontario citizens' interest on their mind?
