Attention: Board Secretary
It has come to my attention via the London Free Press that Ontario Hydro is asking for an increase in the delivery fee. I believe that everyone should have an increase due to increases in cost of living. But at a time when the entire population is forced to cut back due to job losses and company cut backs, I believe that this is really asking for undue hardship for those of us in a fixed income (retired) situation.
When employees get a one percent or maybe a two percent wage increase, it usually is due to a strike to get this, but Ontario Hydro seems to think that an increase of up to 28% is fair and justified. I believe that they should only get what the cost of living merits at the time and no more.
Thank you for your time,
