We are living on a fixed income which means we cannot even afford
some of our medications. An increase in Hydro rates would be very
difficult to manage. As it is, we grit our teeth looking at your
delivery charge and the debt reduction. We used to have a lower
rural rate! Note past tense. Fools that we are, we bought into the
'live better electrically' sales pitch and have suffered for it
since. An increase in rates would be yet another in the series of
hardships suffered at the hands of Hydro.
