Hydro One Networks has filed an application to the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) to raise hydro delivery charges:

9.5% in 2010, and
13.3 % in 2011.


Until September 15th, opinions on this application will be accepted by the OEB by:

This is insane!! Ontario residents, businesses and manufacturing already pay one of the highest (if not the highest) hydro rates in Canada!! These rates have resulted in the closure of many businesses and industries. In addition many residents, including myself are unable to pay the bills we receive now. Who in the “real world” gets increases like this on their salary? It is clear that privatizing Ontario Hydro was a huge mistake, which is costing this province jobs everyday!! Please stop this insanity!!
