Subject: Recovery of Forgone Revenue Horizon Utilities Corp.
First of all, it is not forgone" revenue, which suggests it was voluntarily given up. It is, surely, lost revenue.
And, in line with todays thinking , anyone is going to pay for it other than the loser.
Secondly, if it wasn't for a co incidental article in the Spec explaining exactly what the situation is, neither I nor most regular people would have known what your advisory notice was talking about. But, then again, perhaps that was the intention. Such advisories should be written in lay language and include a short explanatory history.
Thirdly,Horizon should have had a contingency plan for just this type of situation, like any prudent money manager.
Why should the consumer always have to make up for ineptitude, greed and/or lack of forsight. Who's going to compensate all those who lost their jobs and pensions in the recent financial downswing?
This application should be denied.
