Subject: proposed delivery fee increase
Straight to the point..I'm against the proposed 9.6% increase. Yes I know cost do go up but I would like to see this increase held back until we see what effect the new Smart meters will have on the average consumer. I believe the Smart meter will greatly increase the amount that the consumer will spend on electricity. Let's wait and see what happens. As an aside..9.6% or a few dollars a month doesn't seem like much but as many of my bills..taxes, fuel, food etc go up it all adds up to quiet alot of dollars. I have seen a decrease in my take home pay over the last year and have not had a wage increase in over 10yrs. Think about the lower income workers when thinking of increases. Thanks.
