FBC 270 was originally issued for the City of London and the Township of London in 1958. The Township of London is now part of Middlesex Centre. We must have assumed that a decision on our March 2, 2009 application for a new City of London Certificate would have been issued by now but we have run into a few issues on that one that must still be addressed.



The requested Order for Middlesex Centre should properly read:



(c) an Order pursuant to s.8 superseding those parts of P.F.A. 5643 related to the former Township of Lobo and the former Township of Delaware, superseding those parts of F.B.C. 192 and F.B.C. 270 related to the former Township of London, cancelling P.F.M 580 and P.F.M. 582, and replacing them with a single Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity for those areas of the amalgamated Municipality of Middlesex Centre.

Just a small query I thought you might be able to clear up for me.



There is a reference to cancelling F.B.C. 270 for two municipalities, one of which is London. There is no mention of the other affected municipality, and there may be additional language necessary depending on what that other municipality happens to be.



Board staff needs clarification on what the other municipality is before we can move to issue a decision for the Franchise & Certificate application.
