Dear Ms. Walli,

We are counsel to Great Lakes Power Transmission LP, applicant in the above-noted proceeding. On behalf of the parties to the settlement discussions, this letter is to request that the Board extend the time (set out in the Board’s Procedural Order No. 5) for the receipt by the Board of any settlement agreement in this matter from the time of 9:30 am on May 17, 2010 until noon of May 17, 2010. While efforts will be made to ensure that any settlement agreement is received well before noon on that day, the additional time is requested to account for any logistical issues in preparing a final form of settlement and completing the filing process.

Attached is a letter containing the same content as that set out above that will be filed with RESS.
