Im writing this letter (a few days late as we were on vacation) with tremendous concern pertaining to the proposed Transmission Line on Haldimand Road 20.
We purchased the above mentioned land with the intent to build our family home. Since learning of the proposed Transmission Line we halted all plans. After much consideration (including health concerns, the aesthetic appearance etc) and disappointment we listed the land for sale. We received an offer from a buyer which did not come to fruition; the buyers backed out when they learned of the plans for the area and most importantly the plans directly affecting the above mentioned land. Since that time we have not received any offers, nor do we every foresee buyers being interested in purchasing the land, thus it is unsalable.
Considering our family home plans have been forced to change and the land is unsalable, we must be compensated.
