Penn Energy Renewables Ltd. is a developer of solar generation projects in Ontario. We would like participate in the consultation process that the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) has initiated, under Proceeding EB-2011-0043, with respect to cost-effective development of electricity infrastructure through coordinated planning on a regional basis between licensed distributors and transmitters, and the cost allocation methods thereof. (The OEB paper initiating this consultation is attached herewith).

Please note that, in view of another meeting arranged by IESO on May 12, 2011, which meeting is addressing some Distributed Generation issues for the final time before those issues become Market Rules, Naren will not be able to attend the first OEB meeting under Proceeding EB-2011-0043. We will not be applying for any cost awards with respect to our participation in this proceeding.
