We are writing to submit an official objection to the proposed increase to our electrical delivery rate. The increased cost of delivery is not justified as Orangeville Hydro (the distribution company) has not provided any evidence that service has been improved and/ or a larger percentage of the electricity that has been supplied from renewable sources. By allowing Orangeville Hydro to arbitrarily raise delivery rates just because it is permitted to do so under the Act, and to not provide proper justification for this, it should not be permitted to do so. We respectively request to be added as intervenor status to properly submit questions and file arguments in relation to the application.
