Subject: Orillia 3 - Recurrent Energy

Â

Good Afternoon Ms. Walli;

Â

At the last meeting with Recurrent Energy, with regard to Orillia 1 and 2, I tried to ask questions of Bob Leah about Orillia 3 and was refused because as he said, "any discussion for Orillia 3 will happen after we decide on the appropriate meeting".

Â

In preparing for the meeting this evening for Orillia 3, I see that I have missed a deadline, in which I could have made a written submission to your board with comments about the proposals by Recurrent Energy.

Â

One of the points that I have been fighting for is the Canadian Land Class protection under the Green Energy Act. Whereas the original proposal identified areas of Class 1, now those areas have been given up for development.

This is but one feature, whereby I feel the public and I have been misled by Recurrent.

Â

I understand the meaning and necessity of deadlines, but I truly believe that I was offered incomplete information by Bob Leah, at his public meeting.

Â

I would like to know if there is anything that I can do at this point. Surely since the proponent is being favoured over the public, a Board such as yours would welcome these comments, in the cause of justice and fairness.

Â

Please advise how I can proceed from this embarassing position in which I find me and my work.

Â

Respectfully,

Â

Bernard Pope
