Subject: Request to Observe - EB-2014-0154

Dear Board Secretary,

Re: EB – 2014-0154

Energy Source would like to participate in this Hearing as an observer and receive information related to this hearing. While I am certain we would meet the criteria for participation as an Intervenor, I am not certain what is involved in fulfilling the commitments of this role. Our company was directly charged and others we represent have been significantly impacted by this particular issue. We certainly have relevant market information and expertise that is directly relevant to this case.

As never having participated in a hearing in the past as an Intervenor, I have several questions before making our decision to register as an Intervenor in this matter:

· What is the difference between submitting comments and intervening?

· Do I need legal representation to Intervene? I see the other companies all have legal representation.

· If not, do I run the risk of having information disregarded due to procedural or other shortfalls/misunderstanding?

· What costs are eligible for recovery if we opt to engage legal counsel?

Would you offer any other suggestions/information to help me make this decision?

Thank you for your time with these requests.

Regards,

Dave Cornies, President
