This is my official objection to the Notice of a Rate Change for Hydro in Tillsonburg.



Tillsonburg is depressed area. Some of our largest employers are laying off such as DDM, and TDS. There are very few other opportunities for these employees to work in our town. Also the tobacco industry is employing many less people than it used to. Our citizens cannot afford a rate increase in Hydro usage or delivery.



Personally I have recently been laid off, am a single parent and am looking for work in Tillsonburg. I am concerned that I may have to sell my home if this increase comes into effect or move out of Tillsonburg to find suitable work. I would like to be an intervener in this proceeding. I represent only myself but am speaking on behalf of the unemployed citizens and the single parents of Tillsonburg.
